JEFF LOOMIS & Chris Broderick donated their guitar’s to Jason Becker not dead yet foundation.

Guitarists JEFF LOOMIS (ex-NEVERMORE) and Chris Broderick (MEGADETH) have both donated guitars to be auctioned off in benefit of the JASON BECKER Not Dead Yet Foundation

Becker was diagnosed with ALS—aka Lou Gehrig’s Disease. He was just 20 years old and he was given three to five years to live. Although the disease eventually left him both paralyzed and unable to speak, it’s now more than 20 years later and Jason Becker is Not Dead Yet!

Megadeth’s Chris Broderick was very kind and generous to donate this custom painted Ibanez guitar which is autographed by all other Megadeth’s members.

Even Jeff Loomis donated his custom schether guitar to the foundation.

Slipknot to hit Indian Soil .

Well seems like 2012 is going to be kickass for metal lovers all over the country, SLIPKNOT just said that they will be doing a concert in INDIA on JULY 26, but since Corey is busy with Stone Sour their tour dates are still not confirmed.

There are around 75% chances that they  will come .

LAMB OF GOD has announced the ‘Resolution Tour 2012′

The American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia Lamb Of God is going to play in Palace Grounds,Bangalore,India on 26 May 2012.

On their first visit to India, the band played to a crowd of around 7,000 people and appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone India.

Metalheads all over world will be happy to know that Jeff Loomis’s second solo album will soon be released, Loomis was seen working out on his second album around august 2011 after his first solo album hit in 2008.
Loomis’ first solo album, “Zero Order Phase”, was released in September 2008 through Century Media Records.
Various artists are working along Jeff on this album.
Dirk Verbeuren of SOILWORK will play drums. Christine Rhoades, who previously collaborated with NEVERMORE on the “Dreaming Neon Black”CD, will sing on selected tracks and Shane Lentz will handle the bass.Aaron Smith will produce the effort.
The album is about to be released later this year.

Opeth to play in India

The Sweden based Progressive Death Metal Band – Opeth is about to play in India on February 5,2012. They announced this news on their Official Website.

Indian Metalheads were not much happy by what happened at Metallica’s Delhi’s concert but they are surely relieved by this good news.

Opeth has also performed in India in late 2009 at Saarang festival in Chennai which was hosted by IIT-Madras .

Opeth Fever is on guys !
